so i was just on that website dsab and seen disco's haircut, although i seen it last week in person its much more funny, halfords. so go to DSAB to laugh at him and the dsab livi jam is next week on the 8th, so try make it along for that and win some nearly prizes if there will be any; ull have to come and find out. And i just got a cast put on, perfect for starting the nearly trip. 15 % halfords.

ALEX INJURY A FAKE!

That is correct this “broken arm” situation we have heard about is nothing more than an elaborate cover up! I never believed it from the start and now thanks to my undercover investigative journalism the truth can be revealed.

It is true that he underwent surgery but it is NOT true that this was due to a cycling related injury.

I posed as a nurse and was able to infiltrate the surgeon’s highly fortified operating theatre.

From this vantage I was able to gain not only secret photos of Alex’s operation but also the plans of the CYBORG ARM he was getting installed.

The truth is out! I have detailed files on how this metal arm functions and its purpose.

It has the potential to give him the power to:

• Hop even higher than before, thus meaning every gap and rail in the world is possible.
• Air higher than is humanly possible, enabling 17 trick combos in one single air.
• Spin the bars faster than the speed of sound, putting a stop to those weird sideways late catch bars things he does.
• Do every trick in the world.

It also has the advantage of being lighter than regular arms and the 360^o rotating cuff means quadruple barspins can be done without letting go of the bars and X-ups can go round as many times as desired!

This may seems hard to believe but please look at the evidence I have provided below...

Wee Alex update

So its true Alex broke his left arm, shattered both bones in his left fore-arm and it is now held together with some steelwork. Signed off the bike for 6-8 weeks but probably 3 months till he is back to normal. He is outta hospital ( told them to get to fuck apparently, they wouldn't give him chicken nuggets and beans) so he is currently sat at home doped up to fuck on painkillers.

Regarding my earlier post about this incident, the Disco Stu quotes may have been slightly exaggerated. haha...

Welcome to the Team!

We at NearlyBMX are way more pro and organised than DSAB and often post more than once a year so heres another one - We have added Jordan Gosling from Glasgow to Team Nearly. Jordan came out filming with us a couple weeks ago and immediately clocked 4 times as many clips as disco so we now have a full Jordan section in progress and he will be soon sporting a nearly tee which i believe will be available soon from www.20twentystore.com

He fell again...

Roumour has it Wee Alex decked it at perth today trying tailwhips and broke his arm. Not sure on details yet but i will update when i do. Apparently he is going in for surgery on it tonight.

Disco Stu commented on this breaking news (pun intended) by shouting "serves him right" and proceded to shout "DATA" at the top of his voice...

SO disco got a job

ryt it needs to be brought to everyones attention El disco stu has a 27h job full time, so i asked him u ridin 2moro, "na iv got work" ok u ridin 2nyt? " na iv got work in the morning" unnacceptabllee. Ok so the point is, is disco really quiting HIs full time sponser dsab and part time sponser nearly for the bike hut halfords team? he says "no" dsab for life, but what does he know he has a job now. Ohh and now he has a job he thinks he can just let me get a punsture every time we go riding know un fair i think so. GET it sorted 15% discount, is it worth? probally yes. Anyway i hear the t-shirts are well under way so every one get pre-ordering them from somewhere. Ill let u know where when i know.

The Nearly stabbed story.

so me, lafferty an roddy are cycling into a "ghetto" called Barrhead or Stabinthehead. We come to this massive over bar, bench hop into an 28 set, which lafferty straight away calls out the whip hop over the bench to truckdizzle down the set, so i set up the camera an lafferty takes a run up just a tuck over the bench to double bars down the set to warm up. Then as he climbs back up for a proper attempt 3 million acoholic, drug abusers, killer alien type things start attacking us with fire and tic tacks but luckily disco stu wasnt there he was to busy with his halfords crew so we had the advantage somehow. so lafferty starts tailwhipping the aliens legs out while i was filming an roddy using his foldable machety was doing some killings, then 1 steals laffertys bike, flys bout 5m then falls, then carries on with it into a distant galaxy, while i was still filming to make a youtube video. so we then go bak to the car defeated.

we went to barrhead to ride some street, we get the bikes out the car, bike round the corner and find a bench hop to 4 set, which lafferty calls out the hop over to whip, so i set up the camera and he hops over the bench an down the set 1st off, an as he's biking back for another run about 10-12 drugged up neds come round the corner. one of them askes lafferty for some drugs, he had a knife in his poclet,(nearly bmx does not encourage smoking). 1 picks up laffertys bike and rides it into the park where they all follow, an 1 takes roddy bike for a bike ride an brings it back which was wierd. Then with laffertys bike in the park with 12 druggies around we decide to go back to the car an phone the police, eventually 5 police bring his bike back and we go out of there quickly and went to burgerking. THE END ( both true stories)
